For many years I have taught how to create a misty forest painting.  I’ve had my misty forest time lapse videos go viral with tens of millions of views.  People from around the world have created their own works based on my misty forest style, but now I’m going to show you how to do them in oil and with a twist.

Learn 4 great painting lessons in the comfort of your own home.  I will show you how to do every one of these paintings from start to finish.  Once you learn this technique it will be something you can use over and over for the rest of your painting adventures.

I’ll explain all the brushes you will need, the colors you need to mix, the mediums you will need to use in order to complete all of these lessons.  I do them on large canvases, but you can do them on any size canvas you want because the technique will work with whatever surface you choose.

Colors used:  Alizarin Crimson, Naples Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue, Cerulean Blue, Terre Verte, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Titanium White, Flake White, Zinc White, Cadmium Red Light, Kings Blue (optional), Amethyst (any purple color will work).
