Description
If you want a lesson on painting branches, this is the one for you. I’ll take you through all the steps in creating this beautiful, tonal snow swept treescape. Learn how to create effective branches using value, color and pressure. I’ll also take you through all the steps to creating a neutral background full of subtle clouds, and how to use directional brush strokes to create effective snow.
This lesson only uses a handful of colors (cobalt teal, ultramarine blue, raw umber, zinc white, titanium white) which makes color matching and mixing much easier! I use a 20 X 20 inch canvas in this lesson, but you can use any size or format effectively.
