About this lesson: This lesson is a great one to spark your creativity. I painted this surreal tree house based on a sketch I did in a sketchbook. It’s a place where I go in my mind to dream. A tree house overlooking the distance, set on its own podium of rocks. We all have that place where we wish we could go and just dream. This lesson will show you how to create layers using multiple washes. I’ll show you how to use a basic sketch to create an interesting surreal place. This lesson will show you how to do everything from start to finish. From the clouds, to the rocks and all the fine details in between.
