Early Autumn Days is an acrylic painting lesson that focuses on creating a painting from two reference photos. We take elements from two photos that we really like and add them together to make one painting. In this case we take a great sky from one image and add it to another image with a barn and some fall foliage. This is a great lesson to show that you can paint from multiple images to create a painting that you envision in your mind!
I will take you through each step of this painting, from painting the atmospheric sky to painting the highlighted grass in the foreground. Every paint mixture and brush is covered in this 2 hour lesson.
Colors needed: Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue Deep (or just plain Cerulean mixed with a bit of Raw Umber), Raw Umber, Zinc White, Titanium White, Naples Yellow (Golden Brand), Cadmium Red Medium, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre
