In this lesson I will guide you through painting a marsh field with puffy clouds floating by. Layering clouds can be difficult, but in this lesson we will go over how to layer the colors slowly to get a more three dimensional shape without losing depth.

From the sky we move forward into the marsh fields. Create effective reflections, wispy grasses, and a beautiful line of trees. There is nothing like a bright beautiful summer day, and that is what we will capture with this painting.

This painting is about 2.5 hours long.

Colors used: Pthalo Blue, Manganese Blue, Titanium White, Zinc White, Raw Umber, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Sap Green, Alizarin Crimson
