In this lesson I’ll start you off with a quick drawing progression. From there we will add in a few defining brush strokes. Then we will continue with a few washes and dive into the details. I’ll take you through the entire painting from start to finish. This is a great starting point if you want to learn how to paint birds without worrying too much about getting a perfect background. In this lesson we create a unique abstract feel to our background that frames in and illuminates our blue jay friend!
