Description
In this lesson you will learn how to paint a beautiful cardinal sitting on an apple branch. I will take you through each step of the painting from start to finish. In this lesson I will show you how to transfer a basic sketch to canvas to help get accurate proportions. I even provide a sketch for you to print out if you’d like. This makes getting your initial proportions easy, in case you have difficulty with drawing. It’s a good step in the learning process.
Also included in this lesson are very close up shots so you can see how the brush bends and applies the paint to create the textured feathers. A high definition reference photo is also included.
