About this painting:

This painting was inspired by a photo I took at our local park here in Presque Isle, Maine. Mantle lake park is a place where people go to get some fresh air, take their kids to fish in the pond, walk their dogs, socialize and just enjoy the Maine landscape. It is a place we have gone for years with our dogs. As you walk through the park to the woods path you can see great foliage and trees on the other side of the pond and a little faint path going up the bank into under the trees.
